1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Convertible - completely restored car, no bolt left untouched

This 1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider was delivered new to the US before being relocated to France in 2013. Chassis AR149508331 underwent rotisserie refurbishment work at RMP Motorsport in Poland from 2019 to 2020 that is noted to have involved a complete bare metal repaint, an interior re-trim, and a suspension overhaul. This is a completely restored car, no bolt left untouched. I acquired this car in 2023 and returned it to the US, where a fully rebuilt 1.3L twin-cam inline-four was installed and a five-speed manual transmission was retrofitted by The Giulietta Studio of Lake Bluff, Illinois, with work finishing in 2024. Engine was fitted with a Gordon Raymond oil pump as well as electronic ignition. It retains a stock, rebuilt, Solex carburetor as well as 1750-spec camshafts. Body is finished in black with a new black convertible top, the car rides on 15″ steel wheels with Alfa Romeo–branded hubcaps and is equipped with finned front drum brakes. Inside, low-back seats trimmed in black upholstery with red piping are accompanied by a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel and Veglia instrumentation. This car has under 300 miles on it since complete refurbishment and it is immaculate inside and out. Runs fantastic, drives fantastic, stops fantastic, and of course looks fantastic!

The 15″ steel wheels wear Alfa Romeo–branded hubcaps and are mounted with 165-width Michelin XZX tires. The front drum brakes were relined in 2025.
